I just posted some new content for the first time in...too long. I hope that the departure of warm weather doesn't mean less photos, but it almost always inevitably does for me. I just haven't been feeling like doing art lately,of any medium: writing, drawing, photography, etc. I have been scrapbooking--which I guess kind of counts?
Anyway I'm (as always) hoping to get more productive. I'm always looking for a challenge if anyone has anything in mind!

Wow, I am really slacking on here! I guess summer is the perfect time for slacking after all...? I've been very apathetic toward photography lately, which isn't very cool. I just found my 4GB card all messed up, so now it won't work, bummer.
Tomorrow my good friend ~Xxlost-in-thoughtxX is coming to visit me! We are planning some sort of photo shoot so hopefully my hiatus from posting shall be over! She's very talented and artistic so I'm looking forward to her opinions on things.
If I end up getting ambitious later I might edit some photos from this summer and post them, though in general it's been a very slow summer for photography for me.
Life has been pretty good though, no complaints really. I have a fabulous concert on Thursday that I am really excited for! If school were still several weeks away I think I would be ecstatic! Oh well you can't win them all.

Well I got in from Florida yesterday afternoon. It was a really fun trip, very, very hot, but really fun! The beach was really fun also. I got to see lots of family which was really cool.
Lots of pictures were taken, 900 for the whole ten days I think? Mostly standard portraits or more architectural type photos. I have no idea what I'm going to post! I think I have a few that are relatively worthy, but we'll see. I'm still vegging out. It was a really exhausting trip! Lotss of walking.
After the process of elimination and editing I will see if I can find a couple to post on here :]
I did not end up doing a day in photos, which bums me out a little bit, but I might plan to try and do it on either July 14th or 17th. Let me know if you're interested in joining in =]
As always I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's art! I'm hoping for a productive summer, but we will see!

Okay so I got the whole way through a journal and lost it all....

Anyway basically: I feel really guilty having not posted any pictures lately. And I haven't been posting because I having been taking any which makes me feel worse
I am headed on vacation on Saturday (beach in MD and good ole Disney), so I am hopeful for lots of pictures to post! I mean if you can't take pictures of a beach and disney world what good are you? xP
I'm also hoping for another photo shoot at some point over the summer. The sooner the better for me! I also am planning on doing A Day In Photos again sometime over my vacation
( [link] the last time) Again I would absolutely love if some others would join in! I think it's really neat to see what people from all over the world are doing on the same day. So make sure to link me if you're interested! I'm not sure what my internet access will be like but I'll see if there isn't a way to update you all on what day I'm planning on. With technology there is always a way

I was cleaning up my account today, I now have 22 scraps. I'm not sure how I feel about that... on one hand I look at it as progress... on the other as a bunch of "failed" pictures. Just looking back at pictures I've taken in the last year I know I've improved, maybe just not as much as I would've liked? I've taken a lot of photos that I love which is the upside to it all. I just hope that I can get to a point where I'm really happy with the photos I take. --This has been a ramble.
